SEEKING CNC MACHINIST! (DIRECT HIRE!)

QUALIFICATIONS:

CNC Lathe experience

Experience with G codes Need to be able to read calipers and micrometers, read basic drawings, and need to be able to read dial indicator gauges.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
MACHINERY AND OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 Must have a working knowledge of Fanuc controls and CNC operations and be able to understand center line rotation of fixtures as applied to horizontal machine setup.
 Set up and operate 2 and 4 axis machine centers in highly efficient manner using proper feed and speed for maximum efficiency.
 Operate equipment to debur work in process.
 Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts to determine specification procedures.
 Monitor tool wear, change tooling, pads, grippers and inserts as required.
 Must possess the mental capacity to understand basic CNC programming, API specifications and mathematics including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication and possess a working knowledge of computers.
 Monitor and maintain quality of product from CNC machines.
 Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
 Report any excursions from normal setup or production specifications to immediate supervisor.
 Check all equipment prior to production and notify supervisor of any malfunctions which include maintaining proper coolant levels and lubrication.
 Monitor and maintain housekeeping/6S assignments in work area.

INSPECTION CHECKS AND REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
 Perform quality readings utilizing MRP gauge, taper gauge, lead gauge, thread height gauge, UT thickness gauge, pocket scale, run out (buttress), ring gauge and micrometers, Go-No Go gauges, calipers, protractor, clipping gauge and other measuring and testing equipment as required.
 Verify the correct lot number of the pipe being inspected by visual means.
 Verify the lot number/heat number has been released for processing.
 Inform supervision of any discrepancies.
 Complete daily CNC operator checklist and submit to management.

There are 3 shifts. Additional 2$ for any hours worked between 7pm and 7am.

Incentive bonus- Overall Equipment Effective- OEE- up to $3.00 hour- paid out on a monthly basis- 2nd check of the month- the month after complete.
