One of our top health care clients are looking for a Reimbursement / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a 3-month contract to hire basis. The role will be paying between $18 - $22 per hour based on experience and will be starting immediately!
Please read below for some of the key qualifiers for an ideal candidate for this opportunity:
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Reimbursement, or medical billing experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Passion for analyzing data and identifying imperfections
- Ability to contact proper parties to resolve issues in regards to a medical bill
- Solid customer service experience (ability to work with internal and external teams)
The role will be responsible for the following:
- Using Pivot tables to locate data points
- Identifying inaccurate bills based on past historical data
- Analyze inaccurate bills and determine next course of action
- Compile the data and contact the proper provider or vendor
- Escalate the issue to the proper parties
- Close outstanding bills or payments to help maintain the client's bottom line
This role is a very important function for our client and they are open to Health care Billing or Finance backgrounds. A candidate will be working closely with insurance vendors and clinics to resolve outstanding issues and concerns.
