Sheetmetal Mechanic - Long-Term, OT - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description: Performing maintenance on firefighting aircraft for state and federal governments and agencies, flightline up to C-checks in the hangar, traveling with the aircraft during the season

Fabrication and installing basic sheetmetal repairs and replacements, riveting, bending, corrosion control, up to C checks. Repairing and modifying structural components.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone seeking a stable career in the Spokane area

Work Environment: Hangar environment during off-season, Monday thru Friday 7am - 3pm.

During season, traveling with aircraft for 3 weeks, home base MRO in Spokane for 1 week. Will be working 50-70 hours/week during deployments, and receiving per-diem and paid flight time on top of hourly pay.

Qualifications: A&P license, 5+ years of Aviation maintenance experience, installation and troubleshooting of avionics highly preferred

Travel: Will eventually travel 75% during fire seasons, once fully up to speed and trained. none during the winter

Contract: 6 months then permanent hire
