Field Technician / Driller's Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for a Driller's Assistant to join the St. Louis, MO team! Individual will have the opportunity to work for an Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling services company located in the Greater St. Louis area. Driller's Assistant will gain industry experience working on private business, consulting firms, State, Federal and Municipal Government projects.

• Assist a Driller and Geologist doing soil borings, soil sampling, monitoring of well installations, rock coring, direct-push sampling, etc.

• Perform all necessary tasks required to set up jobs, make sure they run smoothly and wrap jobs up at completion.

• 30% of work is in the office and 70% is in the field.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of field work experience including working on construction sites, farms, landscaping, lawn care, any outdoor work required

• General mechanical aptitude

• Valid Driver's License

• Experience driving a truck, for example: Ford F350 flatbed is a plus

• Ability to lift 45lbs

• CDL license is a plus

• 10 Hour OSHA is a plus

• Must be ok with working outdoors
