About this job
Aerotek is seeking Avionics Technicians for a company that operates a MRO facility to perform military ISR modifications to a variety of turboprop aircraft including C-12s and Dash-8s.
Job Description:
- Repairs, maintains and installs systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications, weather radar systems and others instruments and computers that control flight, engine and other primary functions.
- Performs inspections, makes adjustments and repairs, replaces components, corrects malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to aircraft
- Performs aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOP's, and FAA/JAA regulations
- Access, remove and re-install aircraft components including mechanical and electrical which obstruct their performance of assigned repair/replace tasks
- Assist with repairs on off-aircraft components such as witch panels, circuit breaker panels and junctions boxes
Qualification:
- Must have 8 to 10 years of experience on aircraft performing installs and troubleshooting
- Government contracting experience doing extensive MOD work is a plus
- Experience in a MRO facility preferred
- Turboprop experience is preferred
Job Details:
- Pay: $30 an hour (7 days per diem)
- Shift: Monday to Friday - 1st shift
- Hire off Resume
