Industrial Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Hiring for a Industrial Assembler

1st shift

JOB DUTIES
* Assemble Plate Heat Exchangers that meet customer and design specifications while minimizing scrap/rework costs. Including but not limited to the following tasks:
o Tie Bar Preparation
o Assembling Frames
o Hanging Plates
o Building and Closing a One Pass and Multiple Pass Unit
o Preparing a Unit for Testing o Manufacturing Spray Screens
* Conduct Visual inspections of plates, gaskets and frames.
* Complete quality documentation including NCR's if necessary
* Monitor inventory levels and locations, and work with support staff to ensure the availability of inventory needed to produce goods on schedule and according to customer requirements.

Qualifications
-Aptitude to read and interpret blueprints, process routings, bills of materials, operations manuals and
procedures.
 -Ability to accurately complete tracking logs and required paperwork associated with production and quality
processes.
 -Shop math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using
whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
 -Capability of operating pneumatic tools.
 -Quality oriented, with attention to detail.
 -Ability to work overtime including weekends, and alter hours as business needs dictate.
 -Strong mechanical aptitude.
