DIRECT HIRE Chemical Operator Opening - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Perform the blending and packaging of liquid chemicals using blenders, reactors, and other production equipment
• Follow batch sheets and make the correct batches per customer orders
• Complete all necessary paper and computerized documentation
• Inspect, clean, and fill drums and totes of the correct material/finished product
• Perform sanitation of equipment, work stations, etc. on a daily basis
• Loading and unloading of tank trucks, rail cars, etc.
• Follow all SOP's, GMP's, Safety Procedures, Regulatory Processes, Food Safety Regulations, etc.

Work Environment:

This is a chemical manufacturing environment so it is a tougher environment to work in. It can have unique smells and can be dirtier so candidates must be okay with this.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma, GED, or HSED
• 1+ years of chemical, food, or pharmaceutical mixing, blending, or compounding is preferred, but not required
• Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Conversions, etc.)
