Lab Technicians Needed

Overview:

Lab technicians are needed to help a chemical manufacturing company that is a world renown producer of auxillery materials such as adhesives, sealants, and thinsets designed for buildings and construction materials.

Job Description:

• Safely and efficiently test and inspect products
• Operate both automatic and manual testing equipment, use hand tools and instruments, and assess the properties of raw materials and finished goods
• Work will be primarily done in a climate controlled lab setting
• Basic chemistry will used to test products for quality
• *Steel toe boot environment, pants, longsleeve shirts, gloves

Qualifications:

• Must have a background in Chemistry via Degree or Practical Working Experience
• Prior Lab Experience and ability to use General Lab Equipment
• Ability to work in fast-pace manufacturing environment
• Ability to work efficiently and safely

Hours:

• Training will be on first shift
• 1st Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm
• 2nd Shift:1:00pm-9:30pm
• 3rd Shift: 9:00pm-5:30am

Pay:

• $15/hour during first 6 months.
• Pay differential for 2nd/3rd shifts after first 6 months
