Medical Billing Specialist

Aerotek is currently hiring for AR Follow Up Specialist in Newport News, VA!

Job Duties:

• To manage and collect AR for Physical Therapy Clinics
• Primary responsibilities include all aspects of follow-up and collections
• verifying insurance payments for accuracy
• submitting appeals for non-payment or additional reimbursement
• verifying provider contracts and credentialing status
• answering incoming calls from patients and insurance companies
• performing appropriate billing functions including manual re-bills as well as electronic submission to payers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AR Follow Up experience
• EMR
• attention to detail
• medical billing experience from a third party billing company or a physician practice
• team player
• ability to multitask
• great customer service
