CNC Lathe Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is seeking 2 lathe machinists to grow their 2nd shift . They will be doing own setups, working with tight tolerances and using quality inspection tools (mic's and cal's). Tolerances of plus or minus .0005 inches or less are typical. They will be mainly working on a Mazak Lather with Mazatrol controller. Some of the Mazaks have live tooling and some do not - candidate will be on machine they are most comfortable on to start. Candidate must be able perform difficult setups and read a blueprint based on geometric tolerances. Runs are typically short but there are some runs with a longer cycle time. Could be doing 2 or more setups in a day. Will not be expected to do any programming.
