Frame Welder - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metals and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. (3/4" - 1/4" tube and u pto 1" plates)
• Responsible for performing Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) on a diversified line of products which include close tolerance, large and small weldments in accordance with the appropriate (AWS) welding codes and symbols.
• Fit up of the parts

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in welding
• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of TIG / MIG welding procedures & processes.
• Must have experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS welding symbols
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, squares, rules and dial calipers).
• Basic math skills, must be able to perform conversions and basic calculations.
• Knowledge of welding machines and set up.
• Ability to operate hand/air tools and electric grinders.
