Quality Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Will be on the floor doing quality testing on plastic containers to ensure the product is properly manufactured.

• Quality Lead over 1 other quality technician.
• Responsible for communicating with the machine operators on possible improvements for the process.
• Thorough documentation using Excel spreadsheets, performing quality reporting.
• Will be checking for visual defects as well as dimensional defects using calipers, micrometer, gauges.
• Will be testing samples at established intervals.
• Partner with Management team for recommendations for improvements.
• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials.
• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform Quality Audits (with GMP policies) and cycle counts
• Assist with training machine operators on what quality issues they can see or help fix from their position to help eliminate issues further down the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

5 years of Quality Lead experience in manufacturing environment.

Proficient with Excel spreadsheets, documentation, and cycle counts.
