One of our top health care clients in Boston are looking for an insurance reimbursement specialist to join their team on a contract (with potential to go permanent) basis. Our client is looking for an Analyst to help maintain the bottom line of the company and ensure that standards are met.
Below will be some of the must haves for a qualified candidate:
- 2+ years of Professional Billing experience
- 2+ years of working within payer reimbursements
- Strong Excel background
- Solid knowledge of computer system
A typical day-to-day will consist of the following:
- Analyzing professional / physician's bills
- Recognize inconsistencies in bills
- Find opportunities to gain more revenue for the company
- Analyze payer trends and fee schedules
- Look for over payments and underpayments
This position will be a Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm. A candidate will be working on the Patient Experience team. There will most likely be an opportunity for overtime and a chance for a permanent role that will pay between $52,000 - $62,000 per year.
