microscope Job Description: Microscope assembly of catheters in a clean room environment. Candidates will be working under the microscope for 8-10 hours a day performing small part assembly. They will be working in a clean room environment and will have to fully gown up every time they enter the clean room. Perform repetitive assemblies utilizing the microscope and hands. (no tools needed). Candidates will be assembling catheters as thin as a hair follicles. Work Environment: Cleanroom medical device manufacturing environment. Qualifications: Level 1 - no clean room, medical device or assembly background.
Level 2 - 1-4 years experience in manufacturing, medical device or clean room.
Level 3 - 5 plus years in clean room, assembly or manufacturing experience.
Must have HS diploma or GED. Performance Expectations: 1st day responsibilities:
Candidates will train and complete orientation for 1-2 weeks with Supervisor prior to starting their normal shift.
Performance Metrics:
They will be expected to produce 150 assemblies the first week and 200 a day the 2nd week. They will be assembling 300 daily once they get the hang of it. They will be measured on the quality of their work.
Best vs Average:
Candidates that come from a clean room, medical device assembly environment. Candidates that are comfortable working under the microscope for long periods of time.
Performance will be evaluated on attitude along with capability to pick up clean room assembly. Interview Information: Interviews occur weekly on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am and 10:30am (4 candidates per day). They will be tested for 2 hours under microscope by Supervisor. They will analyze their work and assembly and determine if they are a fit for the role. Additional Compensation: Additional Information:
Disqualifiers: Candidates that are not able to work under the microscope.
1st shift: 5:00am-1:30pm. (Possibility of flexibility of start time)
2nd shift: 1:30pm-10:00pm. (Possibility of flexibility of start time)
