Looking for Embedded Software Engineer to develop diagnostics software for routers, switches, or servers
**Please Note Location is in San Jose, CA**
Must Have
- Hands on electronic board diagnostics software development experience.
- 5+ Years experience with C/C++ and Assembly language.
- Strong Linux background
- Knowledge of high speed control signal interfaces, such as PCIe.
- Knowledge of high speed data interfaces, such as SGMII, RGMII, 10GKR, etc.
- Familiar with CPU architectures such as Intel x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC.
Additional Experience
- Familiar with software tool chain and software control systems, such as Clearcase, CVS, Git, etc.
- Good understanding on OS concepts, Linux, boot loaders.
- Design diagnostics tests specifications to test the hardware.
- Experience with electronics devices such as networking ASICs, FPGAs, PHYs, storage devices (USB/SD/Flash)
- Experience testing different control signals such as: I2C, SPI, MDIO
- Ability to understand and read electronics board schematics and device datasheets.
- Familiar with usage of Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, traffic generators, I2C/SPI bus analyzers, JTAG/ICE.
