Aerotek is currently looking to hire multiple Avionics Technicians for a customer in the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia. This growth is due a few recent contract that were awarded that will involve individuals to perform heavy mod work on King Airs, Dash-8's and Beech1900s. Looking to employ individuals for the next 6-9 months.
Avionics Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repair, and maintenance of electronic systems on Dash-8 and KingAir Aircraft. This includes basic soldering and harness build-up, fault isolation and repair, wire stripping and crimping.
Qualifications:
5 years of avionics experience A&P license preferred Dash-8 or Kingair experience preferred Must be eligible for Secret clearance Experience in a MOD facility and comfortable performing modification work Must have own tools.Must own tools.
Preferable experience on King Air, Dash-8, Dash-7, or Beech 1900.
