Collection Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Hello, we are currently accepting applications for candidates who are interested in a role in medical collections! All you need is to have good tenure as well as some recent experience in the medical collections field. (At least 1 recent year experience)

* Majority of time will be spent on the phones performing outbound calls.
* Reviewing claims (bills) that insurance rejected. They will research and determine if there is more information needed for the claim to be completed or they will call the insurance (payers) and walk them through the claim and collect on payments.
* Familiar with EOB's (explanation of benefits)- anyone who has done medical collections will be familiar with these. This is what they read to determine what procedures were done, what the patient is required to pay and what the insurance company is required to pay.
* Basic excel skills and overall understanding of Adjudication (which is essentially balancing a checkbook type skills)
* Very fast paced environment where they WILL get overtime and need to be available to work OT.
