General Labor

Position Description: This position is a jack of all trades. This is and entry level position that will do whatever is asked for that day. Could be doing general clean up, training on various equipment in the facility such as NDT Presses, Shears, or Grinders. Mainly will be operating as general help until brought on permanent.

Work Environment: A large manufacturing plant in Brewton, AL. They are a metal foundry and supply TIER 1 companies withing the automotive industries.

Shifts available -

2nd Shift : 1PM - 9PM
3rd Shift: 9PM - 5AM

Typical day: 8-10 hour day in an manufacturing environment. Position will be standing for the majority of there shift. Needs to be able to lift 40lbs. All employees will be given two - 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch per 8 hours.

DRESS CODE: Shoes have to be steel toe NO flat bottom surfaces or open toes. NO shorts or pants with holes, jeans are the preference. NO hats are allowed and shirts have to have sleeves with NO large logos. Safety glasses, hard hats and earplugs are provided.

Required:

• GED/Diploma
• lift 40lbs repetitively

Plus:

• Manufacturing experience
• Union experience
• assembly of heavy automotive parts
