About this job
Aerotek is working with a wheel manufacturer that is looking for a shipping and receiving clerk. Warehouse associates will be working with the Warehouse Manager. They are responsible for all aspects of the warehouse, shipping and receiving operations, while ensuring that business needs are met in a timely manner. Some major tasks are listed below:
- Manage receiving and delivery of raw materials, subcontract materials, scrap and finished goods in a timely manner
- Ensure handling of all loading, unloading and delivery to point of use is accurate and efficient
- Utilize and support continuous improvement of functions and processes in the warehouse management system
- Maintain a high level of organization in the warehouse, shipping, receiving and scrap handling areas
- Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns; identify problems and provide suggestions
- Follow established and safety standards
- Experience with UPS and Fedex software preferred
- Will be operating a pallet jack
- High School Diploma or GED required
Shift Information:
1st Shift- 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, Monday- Friday
$14/hour
