About this job
A large civil project is hiring technicians.
The candidates will be administering surveys and collecting field information for a geographic database. Responsibilities will be:
Using a tape measure and digital level
Entering measurements into an application on an iPad
Ensure accuracy of data collected, and calculate basic heights, depths, shapes, and sizes of the geography
Qualifications
Must be willing to travel to various parts of Texas to take measurements and collect the data of state assets.
Basic math skills
Experience utilizing a measuring tape
