Long Term Hospital Phlebotomist Positions Open and Available
Currently seeing experienced Phlebotomist (2+years) for multiple long term contract to hire opportunities with a Large Hospital in the Southern Orange County area. These openings are with the inpatient team so Hospital experience is needed in these opportunities, the main duties will include performing hospital draws throughout the facility, processing patient specimen and utilizing lab systems in order to keep track of patient information.
There will be a heavy emphasis on high volume blood draws and processing specimen.
Qualifications:
- Exhibit proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups,
- Urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing
- Any specific experience with hard draws and bedridden patients
- Candidates MUST have experience with Pediatric blood collections and difficult draws (Heel Sticks, Finger sticks and straight needle draws.)
- Must have comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees.
- Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians
- Must be comfortable and experienced with Inpatient Phlebotomy
