An Aerotek client is seeking a Pricing Database Administrator. The Future incumbent will work in Procurement department and report directly to the Purchasing/Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities:
* The job entails maintaining the cost and pricing structure in our client's ERP system.
* Convert vendor data into usable information from various formats (.txt, csv, excel, ftp, pdf, etc).
* Review and analyze changes in incoming pricing information
* Communicate with pricing providers to ensure timeliness and accuracy of data.
* Communicate and distribute price changes to the internal management team & sales force.
* Analyze pricing & costing data to maximize profitability
* Review, manage, and expand the EDI system with our client's partners
* Interface with marketing and Ecommerce teams to maintain web-site SKU content
* Interface with IT team to best utilize the internal ERP system
* Responsible for maintaining web catalog from external data feeds using various software tools and ERP programs
