Lab Assistant - 1st shift! - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is hiring a lab assistant to help manage the testing for an influx of work with transformer decommissioning. Our client will bring transformers into the warehouse and ensure that they do not have hazardous materials still in them.

Duties:

• Collect samples of liquids within transformer
• Organize sub station parts and pieces
• Prep materials for Lab Techs to run GC work (gas chromatography)
• Data entry into spreadsheets from their findings
• Inventory management by use of spreadsheets
• Update Excel with serial numbers for tracking purposes

Qualifications:

• 6 months experience with Microsoft Excel
• 6 months experience in warehouse/manufacturing/environmental work

This position is 1st shift-7am to 4:30pm.
