Currently hiring Laboratory Technicians for a reputable company in Reading, PA!
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling samples; processing samples; testing samples.
- Samples are fluid and powder milk product.
- Weighing, prepping, samples and media.
- Perform butterfat and total solids testing on milk, cream, condensed and sweetened condensed milk and powder products.
- Perform basic microbial testing and environmental sampling
Current openings:
2nd shift - Hours are 4pm-midnight
1st shift - 8am-4pm
1 floater - 10a-6p
Must be available to work 7 days a week, as the schedule rotates. Schedule will be available a month in advance.
Position is very busy and fast paced. Will be pulling samples from the floor, processing them and testing them in the lab. Strong attention to detail is important.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required!
