Logistics Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Full Time - Excellent career opportunity for someone who is interested in the field of Logistics. Does not require previous experience.

These openings are currently in the Delivery Assurance division. Primary duties include booking and tracking all premium expedited shipments in a timely and professional manner, as well as coordinating all moves associated with the shipment per the Customer's requirements, while maintaining quality customer service.

This will include speaking with current customers when they have needs for shipping items. The role of this person is to work with that customer to figure out the fastest and cheapest way for the items to be shipped that the customer is needing shipped. For example if they tell this person they need XYZ shipped, the coordinator will determine for ex. we are going to need 5 pallets, one truck....etc. After they determine how the item(s) are going to be shipped they will track and trace the freight to make sure it reaches it's destination.

During this process problem solving, critical thinking, and outside the box thinking are all involved. This person must have the business oriented mind to be able to solve problems, and come up with solutions as they arise. The employee will be trained in all of the logistics knowledge and strategies. But the ability to think outside the box, and aggressive attitude is a must have.

Starting Pay: $15/hr

Shift: 2nd - 3:30pm - 11:30pm Tuesday - Saturday
