Quality Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently seeking a Quality Inspector with CMM operating experience. This position will train on day shift and move to grave long term.

Qualified candidates will perform the following:

• Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), Spectrometer, X-Ray, laser scanner, optical comparator, circularity tester, Millipore tester and various gauges to verify that product quality meets customer expectations
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine quality and reliability standards
• Audit product and process to ensure quality meets specification
• Document non-conforming products and processes and works closely with engineering and management staff to close disposition activity
• Recommend updates to process documentation to improve product quality and or process efficiency
• Train selected employees in quality standards and use of CMM and other test equipment
• Support control of quality system documents such as control plans, process instructions and work instructions
