Die Repair Apprentice

Apprenticeship position with company that offers excellent benefits, paid time off, 401K and pension!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Repair of production tooling (progressive stamping dies)
• Troubleshooting dies in and out of press
• Die setting, trimming stock, checking quality
• Corrective and preventative die maintenance
• Set up and operation of machining tools including lathes, mills, grinders and more
• Use micrometers, gauges,dial indicators and other precision measuring tools
• Answer press maintenance calls

SHIFT:

• Must be open to either 2nd or 3rd shift.
• 2nd shift: 2:45pm-11pm Mon-Fri
• 3rd shift 10:45pm-7am Sun-Thurs
• Overtime mandatory

This is an apprenticeship. Could be apprenticed for several months before being considered fully trained.
