Composite Technician - 3rd Shift

Aerotek is currently recruiting for a Composite Technician for a large client that manufactures composites/resins for the Aerospace industry. The ideal candidate must have a HS diploma and be flexible to train on the 2nd shift and thereafter move to the 3rd shift.

Lab Technician - Technical Services
Industry: Aerospace manufacturer
Shift: Flexible for any shift 2nd and 3rd -
Will train 2PM - 10:30PM and thereafter move to a Sunday - Thursday schedule 10PM - 6:30AM

Pay: $18-20/hr. (with 10+hrs of OT if desired)

Description: Composite Lab Technician with previous experience working with composites, resins, lay-ups, laminations in any industry but aerospace experience is a definite plus. May be trained to assist in other depts.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The position involves layup, autoclave operation needed to fabricate composite laminates and panels. Experience in metal preparation techniques (etching, PAA anodizing and spray priming), maintaining equipment and test fixtures, understanding blueprints and/or measurement systems is also preferred.
* Composite or adhesive experience is desired but not required.

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES (Must have):

Knowledge of operating computers, testing or machining equipment. Must have good math skills.
