About this job
This position will be in contact with customers/drivers/shippers/brokers, along with other personnel in the office. Responsibilities include: -Tracking drivers ensuring all deliveries and pick ups are made as tendered and scheduled, and record arrivals and departures. -Notify the appropriate staff/customer of delays, or missed deliveries and pick ups, prior to their scheduled times. -Interact with our dispatch department and keep them apprised of driver's status. -Track Driver's D.O.T. hours of service and assist with related scheduling. -Assist in various dispatch functions, i.e., scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments, routing shipments, communications with driver.
