Job Description:

We are in search of data technicians to deliver outstanding customer service in the overall coordination and processing of patient medication orders and refills. Your daily duties will include talking with patients, doctors, and facilities in order to process prescriptions and data entry. We’re looking for experienced, compassionate, patient-focused data technicians with exceptional customer service, data-entry, and communication skills.

Typical Day:

  • Enters data quickly and accurately in multiple systems.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all patients and caregivers.
  • Adjudicates patient claims.
  • Problem-solving
  • Communicates with doctor offices, pharmacies, and our customers to ensure supervisor customer service.
  • Meet metrics daily based on team and business needs.
  • Maintain updated customer records with strong attention to detail and compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and meet clinical requirements prior to fulfillment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prior experience with third party billing, customer service and data entry, preferred.

Bonus but not Required:

  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (current)
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; this may include using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and being able to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Can play the accordion. Just kidding, that’s optional.

Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses:

  • Must be 18+ years of age. High school diploma /GED required. Some college or advanced education preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Must obtain Pharmacy Tech Registration upon hire and National Pharmacy Technician Certification as a condition of employment
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
