We are seeking a high-energy, motivated individual to be part of the defi SOLUTIONS marketing team. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will report to the Program Marketing Director and be responsible for generating sales discovery calls in a defined market segment which may include lender size, institution type, product vertical, or a combination of these factors.
This purpose of this role is to develop leads into viable prospects and ultimately clients. The Sales Development Representative will identify and develop potential clients through the initial stages of the sales process and then transition the prospect to an Account Executive through a coordinated effort. The SDR must be goal driven, highly articulate, organized, and demonstrate solid qualification and presentation skills. The role is designed for motivated individuals seeking a career path in sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales with a penchant for auto, auto lending, sub-prime or consumer lending. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond quickly to website, email and phone information inquiries.
- Qualify marketing leads to reach the monthly goal for making a specific number of meaningful contacts and setting sales discovery meetings for sales directors.
- Research company lists for key contacts in targeted roles and set discovery meetings.
- Reach out to qualified leads to determine needs, budget, timing and decision-making authority.
- Work with team on targeting, qualifying and sales follow up from conferences, webinars, and other industry events.
- Document all activity meticulously in Salesforce.
- Work with Marketing Program Director to report on goals and progress on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Learn relevant product and technical knowledge, both defi SOLUTIONS and competitors.
- Be able to articulate the value of using defi products and services.
- Support the development of sales content.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Clear understanding of the sales process
- Knowledge of Salesforce

- Prior sales experience, with a preference in auto, auto lending, sub-prime and or consumer lending industries.
