Tasks
- Assisting customers in their lawn and pest control needs and closing in-bound leads.
- Become a trusted advisor for customers and build long-term relationships that result in increased retention and add-on sales.
- Cultivate and maintain referral network.
- Use own influence and creativity to generate leads.
- Prospects by phone, field canvassing, and networking; asks for referrals.
- Actively manages prospects pipeline to keep it fresh and relevant.
- Cultivates leads through coworkers (technicians, office staff).
- Writes compelling emails and proposals.
- Visit prospects and customers onsite when needed for sales and customer service.
- Perform property evaluations, identify areas in need of attention, and provide a care plan and recommendations for the customer.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints calmly, professionally and with the best outcome for both the customer and the company.
- Answer the phone with customer service always in mind; knowledgeably answer any questions or redirect the call to the appropriate team member.
- Check and respond to all emails within 4 hours or first thing in the morning.
- Monitor sales reports for insight into strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of lawn care and pest control.
- Continually participates in training and education to develop knowledge of sales and the industry.
