Job Description:
We are currently seeking a contingent Youth Shelter- Residential Specialist . This role will provide supportive services and actively maintain the daily operations of youth shelter programming. They will ensuring there is a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth consumers and fellow staff, by following all policies and procedures. They will also provide case management when needed.

Requirements:
This position will require a comprehensive understanding of cultural and linguistic competencies around working with youth, families, systems, and people of color or from diverse backgrounds. The employee should be capable of maintaining a flexible schedule, which will include on-call responsibilities and an occasional possibility of working night shifts. All shifts are seeking to be covered as this is a 24/7 operating facility.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of viable experience with youth and families from diverse backgrounds. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check, 5 panel drug screen, TB test and be eligible to drive a company vehicle. A valid driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance is required.
