SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating and executing various marketing, advertising and promotional activities for Jerr-Dan. The Jerr-Dan Marketing Manager will be part of the Jerr-Dan Marketing team and be responsible for marketing all of Jerr-Dan’s products and services. This position will work with individuals from various departments and must have an outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous nature with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the industry and company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, lead, manage and coordinate Jerr-Dan’s participation in events including trade shows, customer visits and trainings
  • Coordinate selected products and accessories to be displayed at trade or special production shows.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities working with agency partners, marketing vendors and internal Jerr-Dan team
  • Coordinate and develop product materials including collateral such as product brochures and technical sheets
  • Maintain the segment’s photo and video assets
  • Work with agency to coordinate advertising placement and creative to ensure advertising deadlines are met
  • Coordinate quarterly merchandise inventory for Jerr-Dan Merchandise Store with merchandise vendor
  • Work with Jerr-Dan distributors and sales teams to ensure customer co-op funds are utilized in accordance with Jerr-Dan’s co-op guidelines
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Create Marketing presentations
  • Partner with legal teams to ensure timely approvals on marketing materials
  • Assist with additional tasks associated with product marketing, web marketing and email marketing as needed
  • Develop routine reports for Jerr-Dan management on marketing activities and return on investment (ROI)
  • Support Jerr-Dan’s domestic and international growth as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or other related field.
  • 7+ years related experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in B2B and/or consumer tradeshows and event planning
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
  • Ability to think spontaneous, creatively and innovatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
