Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all Information Service functions: Service Desk, Network, Servers, Databases, Storage, Telephony, Security, and Business Applications
  • Builds and maintains relationships with other executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities
  • Leads the development of the IT strategy and roadmap; ensures its integration with the enterprise’s business strategy and plans through innovative, secure and stable technology solutions
  • Sets the mission and vision of the IT organization to foster business-oriented culture and mindset
  • Assembles, manages, and leads the members from IT, Business Analytics, and Product Innovation to create synergies across the enterprise to deliver cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals
  • Uses interpersonal skills to lead collaborative teams and ensures high performance and engagement
  • Establishes budgets and performance controls for people and systems
  • Partners with all department leaders and other stakeholders to promote and support the use of information technology for organizational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Provides strategic vision and leadership to the emerging infrastructure, security, mobility, modern workspace, tele-conferencing, productivity, application, and development trends
  • Supports the business initiatives through innovative, secure and stable technology solutions
  • Oversees all technology systems, telephony, network infrastructure, computer operation, user support, security systems, and business applications (e.g. Enterprise, Financial Applications, CRMs, etc.) including IT vendor selection, negotiation and management
  • Develops and implements strategies for disaster security/recovery and business continuity
  • Optimizes the value of IT resource by properly prioritizing between Operations, IT projects, business projects, and innovation
Qualifications / Education
  • Five years or more in an IT leadership role
  • Must possess a broad range of experience in a complex enterprise setting, preferably in financial services or technology product/service resellers
  • Experience working with IT systems across multiple sites
  • Proven success in providing a high level of management in multiple functional areas. Highly developed knowledge in management, IT strategic planning, and technology services planning
  • Deep and broad technical knowledge of virtualization, Cloud services, enterprise software applications, hardware platforms, storages, databases, security, disaster recovery, business office technology (Windows/Mac), and telecommunications
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; heavy emphasis on providing exceptional customer service
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate an IT vision that inspires and motivates IT staff and aligns to the business strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred

  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels and demonstrate the business value of IT
  • Experience with developing and managing information technology budgets
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied
