The Programmatic & Sponsorship Sales Executive is an experienced digital media sales executive, with a deep understanding of both programmatic and direct digital advertising marketplaces. He/she has a stellar book of relationships, is entrepreneurial, smart, energetic and a problem-solver with strong communication skills and most importantly is a CLOSER!

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue with US-based agency holding companies and advertisers
  • Call on both agency trading desks and direct investment teams with the express goal driving spend with Ranker
  • Call on brand advertisers to generate revenue or support of agency activations
  • Connect the dots between all levels of holding company and advertiser decision makers
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends
  • Identify new products, packages, and areas for organic growth
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of successful advertising sales
  • A minimum of 2+ years selling programmatic solutions
  • Strong contacts at Agency Trading Desks and Direct Investment arms
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business targets and revenue goals
  • Aptitude for high volume of in-person client pitches
  • Expertise selling premium advertising solutions
  • Experience introducing new products/marketing concepts to marketers
  • Deep understanding and past use of industry CRM tools
  • Proficient in Google tech stack as well as MS Word, Excel, PPT
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy; roll up your sleeves mentality and a high-level of emotional intelligence
  • Highly entrepreneurial, comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Strong negotiation skills & ability to close
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability/willingness to travel and client entertainment
