We are looking for awesome candidates for a Direct Support Professional position in Searcy, AR.
Working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) can be a very rewarding job. You will assist our customers, persons with developmental disabilities, with daily living activities at their home and/or in the community.
However, it isnt always an easy job. The responsibilities for a Direct Support Professional range from light housekeeping to preparing meals to personal grooming/hygiene or taking the customer on errands. This position also works with our customer on achieving agreed-upon goals.

What are the primary responsibilities for a Direct Support Professional?
- A DSP provides quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroom functions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
- A DSP helps customers make and keep appointments, provides or arranges transportation to run errands and serves as a companion.
- A DSP helps customer achieve agreed-upon plans and goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
- A DSP provides written daily updates of each shifts activities using an online platform
- Must have a passion and desire to help and serve others
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license required
- Must be able to drive an automobile and maintain an acceptable driving record
