As the Card Services Manager you will be overseeing and managing the daily operations and delivery of all Card Services operational functions including; consumer and business Visa Credit/Debit/Gift Card Programs, ATM/ILT Fleet Management, Shared Branching Programs and Rewards Program, creating and managing Card Services budget and Business Continuity Plans.
Your day might include:
- Overseeing and managing Vendor contracts, Vendor Due Diligence and payment of Card Services invoices, related product development and implementation
- Providing resources and technical expertise to ensure effective delivery of department information, guidance and communication efforts
- Assisting with marketing and member education relating to WSECU’s payment products
- Providing direct leadership to Card Services staff through performance of regular management and coaching routines
- Performing department workforce planning, recruiting, performance evaluations and setting clear expectations and goals
- Effectively dealing with performance and/or personnel issues
- Overseeing the financial balancing of the G/L’s and monitoring income and expenses related to Card Services payment products
- Monitoring Card Program initiatives to ensure on-going effectiveness and performance metrics
- Ensuring quality control and adequate testing have been conducted to ensure product stability, performance, compliance and operational standards are met
- Minimum four (4) years’ of experience working with credit and debit card programs and ATM fleet operations
- Five (5) years’ experience in a credit union or financial institution operating areas
- Minimum three (3) years supervisory or leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge and application of Federal Regulations applicable to credit and debit card programs
- Ability to research and interpret technical, professional, business and financial records from multiple sources
- Ability to evaluate income and expense projections accurately
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate with emotional people in a positive and diplomatic manner over the phone and in person
- Ability to be highly self-directed and flexible
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and make presentations and recommendations to others
- Knowledge of preparing and administering business plans
- Self-directed, with integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Must be authorized to work in the USA - Visa sponsorship is not available
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Relevant experience may be substituted, year for year, for education
- Symitar, VISA DPS, FSCC processing services and reporting functions
- Knowledge and experience of project management principles and practice
- Strong leadership and communication skills and experience leading and coaching other
- Experience with budget preparation
- Accounting coursework
