About the role:

Our Account Executive will own the growth and development of key markets accounts, contributing directly to the top line growth of QuickLoad. The ideal candidate is motivated by building and shaping the future, experienced closing and managing accounts, a proven operator, can dig deep into the data to solve operational issues, is always driving small improvements in process, hustles, and loves making something from nothing.

What you’ll do:

  • Hunt new sales opportunities by leveraging network and heavy cold-calling.
  • Solicit and bring new shippers onto the platform.
  • Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges.
  • Actively manage the success of key strategic partner accounts.
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level by identifying partners who are willing to invest both time and money in leveraging our software and training.
  • Manages the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  • Work with companies to drive adoption of QuickLoad while seeking new opportunities to grow revenue and expand the partnership
  • Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution.
  • Manage any issues smoothly that come up in the normal operation of freight.
  • Provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, deliver critical business insights, and launch initiatives that transform the market.

What you’ll need:

  • The desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales.
  • 3+ years of experience in an inside sales position, logistics or software sales experience preferred.
  • Evidence of achieving goals with a low level of supervision. Consider yourself a take-charge kind of person.
  • A positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for your successes as well as your failures.
  • Evidence of relationship building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
  • Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk-taking, and a drive to succeed.
  • Strong communication and organization skills. Must be proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • A sharp focus on your goals and a belief that your daily, weekly and monthly activities will help you achieve them.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sales results in a complex operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational problems under pressure
  • The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Ability to travel extensively - up to 50% travel required
