About this job

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Research returns to determine correct information and re-submission of corrected items
  • Call the client by hand and via the auto-dialer system regarding a return
  • Entering Change Form once redraft is obtained
  • Sending out proper Debit Auth Form for clients that draft returns as, Not Auth, Auth Revoked, Acct Frozen, Unable to Locate Acct, and Account Closed
  • Review entire NSF table including: Holds; New & Old Returns; 12+; Cancels & NC Skips/Resumes
  • Re-working terms and submitting into the NATS Button or NATS Site as needed
  • Submitting and/or processing Banking cancellations
  • Reviewing Coupon Clients and calling any that have not sent in their payments
  • Reviewing Self Saver Clients and calling monthly for a balance update
  • Noting the accounts once coupon payments or balance updates are received
  • Follow up on all front screens for problem clients
  • Call on failed validations via the auto-dialer
  • Review, process and upload validation docs to third party banks for approval
  • Complete all calls and email change requests
  • Process all incoming banking emails
  • Answer incoming client calls. Provide superior customer service at all times, including answering routine questions or complaints; forward to appropriate department if necessary.
  • Make requested changes to clients account.
  • Processing all incoming draft forms and draft change request forms
  • PW Interface - Client Comm/BOD tab
  • Analysis of change reports for accuracy
  • Changes from auto draft to coupon or coupon to auto draft
  • Review and process all changes in the 99 Table
  • Process and call back all voicemails received in the banking loop
  • Answering calls regarding drafting concerns/questions from other departments
  • Processing drafting error refunds to clients
  • Interact with Banking Director and Assistant Director to solve problems with client accounts
  • Assists the Banking Director and Assistant Director in any other requested capacity
KNOWLEDGE AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
  • Data entry skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Problem solving
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of and access to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE:

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Previous phone or telemarketing experience is preferred along with some basic knowledge of accounting skills.
