Position Summary & Essential Job Functions
This position is responsible for the oversight, testing, and execution of the functions and control processes within the assigned CardWorks Servicing operational servicing areas. Tests and maintains procedural and regulatory compliance as the first line of defense. Works with the operational areas to evaluate processes to establish and execute controls and to assist the operational areas in validating the maintenance of procedural and regulatory compliance.
This position is responsible for the oversight, testing, and execution of the functions and control processes within the assigned CardWorks Servicing operational servicing areas. Tests and maintains procedural and regulatory compliance as the first line of defense. Works with the operational areas to evaluate processes to establish and execute controls and to assist the operational areas in validating the maintenance of procedural and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for working with operational management to create a
prioritized roadmap of controls to evaluate - Construct documentation on the objectives for the servicing
process and the existing controls in place - Create a testing plan to document the result of the evaluation of
existing control process - Provide an overview of evaluation with the results of the success
of the controls, recommendations for changes and/or additions for controls
and/or execution enhancements
- Assume lead responsibility to coordinate responses for Client
escalated questions and internal and external Audit and Compliance reviews - Provide support and direction for staff
- Completes performance evaluations and administers corrective
action/counseling as necessary - Appropriately completes all directives issued by sr. Management
and apprise them of departmental information via frequent periodic reports and
informal discussions - Interview potential new hire candidates
- Provides recommendations and direction for automation, process
improvement and additional controls
- 8-10+ years of related banking or financial services experience
required - 3+ years of FDR systems/control experience
- Strong knowledge of the credit card industry and consumer
regulations
