Medical Office Front Desk Lead

Position Description:

At Pediatric Associates of Durango we are passionate about setting a new standard for health that empowers children to reach their full potential. We are looking for an individual with front office experience working in a medical setting with excellent customer service and computer skills.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Managing patient flow, including scheduling appointments, making reminder calls, checking patients in and out and ensuring patients are seen in a timely fashion day of their appointment
• Answering phones and ensuring calls are routed to the correct individual in a timely manner
• Daily payment reconciliation
• Processing patient paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain website, social media and other patient/parent communication, including monthly reminder letters
• Prepare monthly reports
• Order supplies

• College graduate preferred, high school or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical front office role
• Ability to type at least 60 wpm
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Experience with WordPress preferred
