Position Summary: The Quality Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance evaluations of claim files including regulatory compliance, coverage analysis, loss investigation, loss valuation, appropriate reserving and overall results to achieve desired business outcomes.

Essential Functions: The following are the usual, basic and essential functions of the position. However, this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent. Quality Assurance:
  • Review claims for handling quality and compliance for all parties involved in the claim, including but not limited to the field adjuster, the inside adjuster, and supervisors and managers
  • Document reviews
  • Identify trends and specific issues with individuals or procedures
  • Meet with claims management, vendor partners, and individual adjusters to discuss findings
  • Prepare regular reports on quality assurance findings

Data and Reporting:
  • Work closely with business analysts to create and validate performance metrics and KPI’s
  • Produce analysis on performance metrics and KPI’s and recommend process changes as needed

Vendor Management:
  • Liaise between the department and vendors on workflow, training, invoice, and quality issues
  • Level set between the department and vendors on expectations
  • Work with the vendor manager to produce performance metrics and KPI’s
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for vendor partners
  • Assist the vendor manager in procuring new vendors
  • Conduct training and onboarding for new vendor partners

Catastrophe:
  • Develop, implement, and conduct departmental onboarding plan for new employees, contractors, and vendor partners
  • Assist vendor manager in catastrophe logistics
  • Potentially serve as a deployed subject matter expert and point of contact

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years property and casualty adjusting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bilingual, preferably Spanish, Mandarin, and/or Vietnamese
  • AINS, and/or progress toward AIC designation
  • Experience with Xactanalysis and Xactimate
