Overall Responsibility

The successful applicant will be customer service oriented, and provide Exceptional Customer Service. The applicant will need a thorough knowledge of automotive parts and the aftermarket industry.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Open/close repair order and/or parts invoice for proper completion and accuracy
  • Reconcile the repair orders by transferring the appropriate information from each repair order hard copy to the soft copies
  • Update vehicle service history file according to the procedures specific to the department's service history system
  • Run WIP, Open Ticket, Policy Adjustment reports and other reports as needed
  • Complete projects as assigned by manager
  • Maintain communications with Manager
  • Use electronic and paper catalogs to source automotive parts
  • File repair orders as directed by the service department manager
  • Answer the service department telephone, transfer calls to the people requested or best suited to take the calls, and take written messages when the needed personnel are not available
  • Ensure that customer complaints are handled promptly, with genuine concern and according to company standards
  • Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the company, it's employees, or customers
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and suppliers
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the inventory
  • Knows and understands the Ganas Auto Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adhere to the requirements
Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Required
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed
