Towne Nursing is seeking a full time Recreation Assistant for immediate hire at a long term care facility in Far Rockaway.
Description:
- Assist with activities as directed by the Activity Director and in accordance with each resident's plan of care.
- Chaperone scheduled activities away from the facility grounds.
- Help maintain a pleasant and cheerful nursing home environment.
- Assist with other tasks as directed by the Activity Director.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Experience in long term care or SNF settings preferred
