Duties

Provides administrative assistance to senior management members including Heads of Large Commercial Property and Inland Marine. Conducts market/business analysis and reporting, facilitation/logistics support for various internal committees/projects. Assists Senior Vice President of Large Commercial Property and Vice President of Inland Marine.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Executive Assistant

a. Act as secretary for the senior management members; arrange meetings, travel arrangements, process expense reports and other administrative activities.

b. Greet guests and customers, if necessary.

c. Assist members of IB Underwriting with administrative duties including copying, faxing, processing mail, escorting visitors.

d. Support coordination/logistics for various internal committees/projects

e. Coordinate the processing of program business for Inland Marine with Operations.

f. Develop access to variety market intelligence

g. Assist SVP, Large Commercial Property and/or VP Inland Marine in providing process and analytical support for critical corporate initiatives.

2. Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.

Other Functions:

1. Participate in internal meetings as necessary

2. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

3. Regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

1. College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

2. Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

3. Strong PC skills including MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.

4. Ability to work in web based corporate systems, Concur Travel and Expense, E-Time, etc.

5. Solid analytical skills including data analysis and research, trend and information evaluation.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

7. Experience in Marketing, IT, and Underwriting preferred

8. Demonstrated ability to work with people of different levels in different departments.

9. Demonstrated ability to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
