We are currently recruiting for the position of Business Development Manager. In this role, your job will be to represent and promote Global Patent Solutions products and services among our broad array of legal and corporate clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop business relationships with senior executives among complex enterprise-level legal and corporate firms
- Develop innovative and strategic channels to initiate new relationships
- Engage new prospects to establish long-term relationships and help them protect their intellectual property through a variety of patent search capabilities
- Execute to achieve personal and company sales goals
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors
- Support clients with information, and by working with internal resources to ensure client satisfaction
- Leverage expertise in intellectual property, legal, and patents to communicate effectively with prospects, clients and internal staff, as well as developing patent research proposals
Required Experience:
Requirements of the role:
- Degree in Business, Legal, Engineering, Science, or related area
- 5 or more years in relevant business development and/or sales role
- Ideal candidate has experience and/or expertise in intellectual property, patent or relevant legal fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prospecting and client development skills among executives in enterprise-level companies
