A global publishing company is seeking a Security Analyst to join their team in Princeton, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Support vulnerability and risk assessment projects
Research new security solutions to protect company and client data
Assist in managing IT incidents and resulting Security investigations
Assist in performing policy gap analysis reviews of IT systems and applications
Documenting and updating elements of IT security governance
Support information security inquiries and audits
Security monitoring and administration tasks to support new security tools and platforms
Qualifications:
3+ years IT experience
Understanding of common Information Security concepts, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of one or more operating systems (Linux, Windows or Mac)
Understanding of Cloud Computing and concepts
Experience in Network Security or Application Security
Understanding of vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, encryption technologies, intrusion detection, incident response
Threat and Risk assessments and Vulnerability Assessments of IT systems
Information security education and/or certifications
