Marketing Summer Internship

Ready for an internship where you can apply your skills acquired in coursework into a real-world business setting? BISSELL is currently looking for a paid, Full-Time Summer 2018 Intern to join one of our Marketing Category teams.

The individual in this role will serve as a vital team member within the Marketing function, reporting to the category Sr. Brand Manager. The intern will perform a variety of day-to-day tasks to support the business and will also lead a summer long capstone project related to their function, in which they will report out their findings to their peers and BISSELL leadership.

Responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of the marketing plan for both new and existing products. The Intern will work under the guidance of a Sr. Brand Manager. The individual in this role will interact with other critical departments required to grow the business; Sales, Consumer Design, Finance, Digital, Product Development and Engineering.

• Support day to day marketing activity relative to product innovation and the current business
• Lead a variety of projects related to the marketing organization including analytical, creative and digital projects
• Conduct competitive analysis for new and current products as it relates to pricing, features and packaging
• Perform data analysis and measurement
• Support marketing research studies and other testing
• Conduct store checks for pricing, promotions, new items, closeout items, etc
• Refine online BISSELL product content for new and existing items
• Coordinate product/samples/cartons/demos for sales calls and internal/customer presentations.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
