Friendsview Retirement Community is seeking a Health Services Administrator. Applicants should have personal humility but an intense professional will that matches Friendsview mission and values. Friendsview’s health service neighborhoods are all licensed Residential Care but offer distinct levels of service in four locations. Neighborhood apartments include 29 Health Care (24 hr. nurse), 31 Residential Care, 18 Memory Care and 23 Enhanced Care. Oversite also includes a licensed In-Home Care department. The Health Services Administrator is responsible and accountable for operations of all the Health Services in Friendsview Retirement Community. This includes overall function and staff and activities; ensuring that all state and facility standards are met. Serves as a member of the senior management team and works collaboratively with other departments to support the Mission and Values of the organization. Qualified applicants will have a passion for excellence, a commitment to staff development and empowerment and will support resident-directed care, and continuously improve processes and practices. Job requirements: • Administrator requirements: Current RCF/ALF Oregon Certification required, with experience in health services administration. At least two years professional or management experience that has occurred within the last five years, in a health or social service related field or program, or have a combination of experience and education; or possess an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in a health or social service related field. Nursing Home Administrator’s license preferred. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential care, nursing facility, hospital, or inpatient rehabilitation facility. Other relevant experience may substitute. • Five to ten years of increasingly responsible, experience in relevant aspects of health services management; and at least three years of experience in supervisory role. • Minimum three years of experience developing and managing budgets. Must be supportive of the nursing philosophy of Friendsview--a resident-centered care model that commits to honoring the dignity, choice and independence of each resident.
